Asian, American coalition of Ohio: Asian resilience, a fireside chat with the Author, Helen Yee

Helen on Air

“I had the honor and privilege to be interviewed on apex1radio today to talk about my book by Ernest Kanjo Nfor and Wilson Blessing Ekiko. Much appreciation for giving me this wonderful opportunity!”

It Is A Great Honor And Pleasure Co-hosting alongside Ernest Kanjo; The Amazing Chinese- American Author 'Helen Yee' on the Program Apex Snapshot on Apex1 Radio, Columbus Ohio. We will be on in a few minutes.

FROM CHINA TO AMERICA
Just like the American culture, Chinese values are so strong. No matter how far they go away from home, Chinese respect and jealously preserve their culture. However, they are flexible and would give room for shared values while living abroad. In her book, I BELONG HERE, Helen Yee (doubles as Taekwondo trainer) paints a picture of this cultural cross pathing, using her coming-to-America story. Do other Chinese and/or Asian immigrants relate to this? Join us on radio today as we diagnose Helen’s literature masterpiece. She will be a guest on APEX SNAPSHOT hosted by Blessing Ekiko and Ernest Kanjo. The show starts at 1pm EST (2am in Beijing).
