Adam welcomes Helen Yee, co-founder and CFO of the American Institute of Alternative Medicine (AIAM) for another installment of How I Built It. Born in Hong Kong and raised in Columbus, Helen knew she wanted to be a business owner from a young age having grown up in her family's Chinese restaurant.

While becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist and founding AIAM 1990, Helen also had great success as a martial artist. A third-degree black belt in Taekwondo, Helen competed nationally and internationally, and is a two-time National gold medalist, and was selected as an alternate for the 1988 US Olympic Team. She competed on the U.S. Taekwondo team in 1990, earning a silver medal in the 1st Women’s World Cup Taekwondo in Madrid, Spain.
